Reading Notes Part A: Canterbury Tales

I chose the Canterbury Tales unit because I have heard of them many times, but I have yet to read many. I think it is interesting that it is the pilgrims telling the stories. I enjoyed the story about love and magic. I think that will go highly with my theme in my portfolio. I could also use the parable of death or put in even more of the comical aspects of the original stories. There are so many options here and it is always hard to narrow down just one. I will try to narrow it down in Part B of the reading.

Tales from the Myth Comments

My name is Tabitha Carroll. I normally go by Tabi. My major is now marketing. I switched majors this semester from accounting. I have an associates degree in accounting, Spanish, and psychology. I would say that the most interesting thing about my major is that I get to study people and their behaviors. I have always been somewhat of a people watcher, not in a creepy way, but just fascinated by interactions some people have. I have learned quite a bit about people by doing it. I would have to say that this class last semester was my favorite. I did not get to finish due to a close family member passing away, but I enjoyed what I was able to do. I worked the majority of my break at O’Connell’s, where I still work now, so I did not get to do much over the break. IZombie, Supernatural, Dexter, The Punisher, and This is Us are just a few of my favorite TV shows. Sleeping with Other People is the best movie I have seen recently. All the Assignments...

I am intrigued by the stories we get to write about. I love reading stories from different parts of the world. I am very excited for the extra credit and I know making time for the extra credit is difficult, but worth it. I love when a professor takes the time to set up their class in such a unique way. It really shows that they love what they do and I cannot be more appreciative. I am ready to give this class my full attention. Too Tired to Function
