Why rejection hurts so much-- and what to do about it I had no clue that our brains were wired to feel rejection as physical pain. It makes sense. The Story of Beowulf The Story of Beowulf  is one of the topics I am interested in writing about. I read it in high school and we also watched the animated film. I enjoy reading it and I think I could do something with it that I could be proud of. I would be interested in retelling the story in the eyes of the monsters, Grendel or his mother. Through the Looking Glass Through the Looking Glass  is another topic I would be interested in covering for one of my options. I think that I want to somehow make it into a horror story, which could possibly be a stretch, but it would be fun to write. I have read the children's version of the story. Adam was the most popular boy in high school. He was the one all the ladies wanted, and all the boys were jealous of. Adam was the definition of perfection. He was intelligent, athletic, and charming. The one boy who hated him the most was Sam. Sam wanted everything that Adam had from the girls falling all over him to Adam’s spot as the quarterback of the football team. It did not help that Adam was also the debate team champion. Sam tried to do everything that Adam did, but never quite measured up. Sam was the third-string quarterback, alternate for every club he was in, and could not get a female to look his way. One day, Sam decided to plot his revenge for always being in Adam’s shadow. Adam was dating Sylvia at the time. Sam had a class with her and asked her to be his partner in chemistry lab. Sam did not think that Sylvia liked Adam that much, so he saw it as a door into Adam’s vulnerability. She was his kryptonite and Sam wanted to make Adam feel weak like he has all these ...

Adam's body was huge and reached to Heaven itself. Adam was created to be the perfect human. He was charming, physically fit, and had great spiritual qualities. God breathed a soul into him. Adam was so "gracious" to give David seventy years from his 1000 years. Adam is named after Adamah, which means dust of the earth. Adam made the angels jealous, so they tried to set him on fire. God protected him. Satan was the most jealous one out of all of the angels, which led to his fall. Satan challenged Adam to a "trial of wit." Adam and Satan had to assign names to the animals, if Satan could not he failed. In this story, Satan lost and refused to bow down to Adam, so he threw a tantrum and was flown out of heaven by God himself. The earth and God divided time between each other. God took night and the earth took day. This was a result of the earth not feeling like it could nourish Adam and his many descendants to come. Lilith was given to Adam to be his wife, but...

I would like to read stories that are popular, which I have not read yet. I like knowing the information when people use sayings or quotes from books or movies. Dante's Inferno Inferno This is a story I have wanted to read for a while now, not just because it is a video game. I am not sure what the story is about and I would love to find out for myself. There are many stories that I have either seen the movie or just heard a version of the story. I would like to explore these readings to find stories that entertain and keep my attention. Twenty-Two Goblins Twenty-Two Goblins is a story that I know I like so far. I started it last semester but did not get around to finishing it. I recommend it to anyone who likes stories that are a little unusual. Canterbury Tales I read a storybook last semester that made me want to read these tales. It focused on Death and it grabbed my attention almost immediately.
