Wee 15 Review

This is sad that this will be my last back up and review. I have 8 points left until I am finished with the class and I work in thirty minutes. This assignment will satisfy two of those points. I am doing my best to get it all done. I wish I could have put more time into this class, but I just hope I end with a C at this point. It was a very busy and stressful semester. I chose this graphic because I do not use my imagination as much as I would like to. I want to be a kid again sometimes to relive the mindset that a banana could be an orange if I wanted it to be. I watched "The One Moment" video because it was the last one posted. It was absolutely breathtaking with great music. I love slo-mo videos. Imagination

Week 11 EC: Back up and Review

Part One: Done Part Two: I checked my progress in the class. I am not too happy about it, but I will get more extra credit done in order to make up for it. :) Part Three: I am included in the project stack. Sweet! I follow dharma. Fighting for the meek is in my blood. I do not hate people. Forgiveness is important. Video: I had to watch Conjunction Junction for my video pick. I grew up with it. I am not sure if this college generation still watched it or not. I would always have to watch Schoolhouse Rock videos when it rained outside or if we had a substitute teacher in elementary school. It is sad, but I still do not know all of the words to the Conjunction Junction song. "Out of the frying pan and into the fire." I will have to watch more Schoolhouse Rock videos. I was blessed. Dharma

Week 7: Back Up and Review

Announcement Photo "You want your sentences to live, not to join the living dead."- Helen Sword  (see link from photo) This quote is from the video "Zombie Nouns," which is a video about normalization. I learned a great deal from this video. I did not know that in creative story writing that something so simple to fix could either make your readers engage in the story, or drift to sleep. Active verbs are important. I did not realize how much I use normalization in my every day writing for marketing.  I liked this particular graphic because of the colors. It was a plus that I liked what it said too. I think it is a beautiful creative picture.

Back up and Review

Reality This week has been tough for me with work and my school load. I am working on managing my time more effectively. I am going to get caught up with everything soon. I have group projects in all my classes except this one. It can just be challenging to find the time. My favorite graphic is the girl running away from the ghost with “reality” written on it. She is running into a book, which sums up my life in so many ways. I love reading to get out of my own head. It is a chance to explore another world and feel emotions that the characters are feeling. It is nice to escape responsibilities sometimes. Taking a bath and reading is my favorite thing to do. Failing Superman was the most interesting video I found. I am a little on the nerdy side, so using superheroes to explain information about different people and what others are capable of. It talks about asking everyone to do the same task when everyone has a different set of skills.
